This map traces the worldwide roots of the works in the Present Library, revealing where their ideas first took shape at the time of writing. Locations are identified by approximation to the information available. By reading, we travel without moving, stepping into times long past and worlds yet to come. In this active vigil we are invited to explore, imagine, while shaping and being shaped by the stories that are already written and those yet to come.
